About Me
I have been a chiropractor for over 10 years, after graduating with ‘Master of Chiropractic’ (MChiro) from Bournemouth University (2004-2009). I enjoy working with patients of all ages and backgrounds, including family pets!
I am a member of the United Chiropractic Association, the Royal College of Chiropractors, and the British and International Veterinary Chiropractic Associations. I am a registered chiropractor with the General Chiropractic Council. During University I completed a dissertation on Paediatric Headache which led to co-authoring an article in the Journal of Manipulative Therapeutics (JMPT) on Infantile Headache, in 2009.
When I am not at work, I will be spending time with our energetic son and equally lively Jack Russell. I love to tend our allotment (not as much as I would like!), practice yoga, play clarinet, and adventure in the great outdoors (especially hills and mountains) whenever I get the chance. As for the future, I hope to see our wellness centre grow to be an even greater resource for the local community towards a continued trend in true health and wellness. I look forward to meeting you.
In the clinic, we use a variety of treatment options within our management strategies, including chiropractic-specific manipulation (an 'adjustment'), sacro occipital technique, activator technique, massage therapy, trigger point therapy, photobiomodulation therapy, nutritional advice, rehabilitative exercise, and other lifestyle advice.
